Question about Troy dvd

Got a couple of copies of this and they both start from a little way into the movie.
Pushing menu on remote gets it back to the menu screen but is there a way to do this automatically ?

Do you know what program was used to back them up or what type of media they were on?

Nero and dvd decrypter were used to back up.
Tried on different media - all riteks.

hi rob5....If you used "Power DVD" to play those DVDs and it starts automaticly each time you insert the DVDs, it/they will Play from where it last stoped...Normaly Power DVD asks you, (do you want to play from where it last played from)....Just stop the Movie n start again from begining...

Nope tried it on 2 standalone players.
There is a fix released for it, but dunno if that sorts it or not.
