Major prob w/my xbox please help me

Ok I let me friend borrow my special xbox and he f'd it up big time. Now when I turn it on the screen just jumps. Its so bad I cant even make out the words on the menu so I cant even go to settings and mess around to try to fix it. have no idea what I could possibly do to fix this problem so help from somebody would be grrrrreatly appreciated! Oh yea the reward is a virtual pat on the back or 1 cent paypaled to you immediately! :p

Your friend set the video setting to Pal. You will need to go into Evox and try and find the video mode setting. I think you need to go to system management and then video mode setting. I know it is hard to read because the screen is scrolling, but if you look really hard you can see it. Or you can find a copy of the Enigmah video selector disc, and boot that up.

Yeah I talked to him and he said "now that he thinks about it" thats what he did lol. Ok so I tried what you said steel and I really cant read it at all and believe me I tried. I dont know if the menu differs from version to version on evox but if someone could be my eyes and tell me how many times to press down then X I think thats my best bet.

ftp back into the xbox and manualy change the evox.ini, save it on your comp and overwrite the current eovx ini.

Ok well it seems I have fixed it unintentionally! I was trying to make it to the system settings blindly and what I think I did is selected a game to play from the hdd then I realized what I did and I reseted the xbox the voila! Its all back to normal. So thanks steel and trefactor its all good now
