Help me access a hard drive please :(

Had a bad windows file so re-installed on another hard drive and put the faulty one on my raid.

Now I need to access documents on the old one and it says access denied.

I really need to get on that drive.

Any ideas please?

tried accessing through dos?

boot in safe-mode.

log in as admin

right click on the my documents

select security and add users

type in the username on your new install and u will have access to those files

There is a NTSFDOS bootdisk on the net that can access ntsf hds from dos.
