chipped ps2 only plays originals

Just finished fit a Matrix Infinity to a V10 pal PS2. It works as an original unchipped PS2. ie only plays originals, red non ps game screen with backups. Its as if the chip is not there.

The only bit I struggled with was points A B G and I, but I think they are ok. Would a bridge on theses pins cause the above or what is likely to be the cause.

Just check you haven't fitted a Homebrew chip mate as these DON'T boot backups out of the box. You need to flash these chip with the current Bios available from the Matrix site.

If you've used those A,B,G,I points that are on the chip legs then make sure they are on the right legs! and no bridges at all. I've used the alternate point on one V10 but it didn't work as I think the wires are too long.

If you are confident that the points are fine, no bridges e.t.c. then I'd reflash the chip no matter what to the latest firmware.
