When I run LOTR Third AGE PAL on my NTSC xbox it plays black and white and scrolls. Setting the dashboard to auto-detect region doesn't help. Can anyone help me with this? thanks:beer:

Did you try a PAL to NTSC converter?

A replacement 'default.xbe' file was released by a group. You need to extract the iso, delete the PAL xbe and replace it with that one. Then the game plays in full NTSC mode.

Let's not ask where to get patches and to have them emailed to one another from now on please.

If someone suggests you need a patch then I'd say email them through the board and not discuss such things openly.

Thanks guys.
