Hi all
I've been trying to chip a v3 with a Matrix MXL2 chip but i can't get it working properly. The ps2 boots fine, but games only work about 1 time out of 10. The rest of the time it either goes to the browser screen, showing "Playstation 2 disc" or goes to the red 'insert ps2 disc' screen.
I've installed several chips in other ps2s but this is my first v3 and i've got no idea what else to try. The chip is sat underneath the bios and DVD chips, so all the wires are nice and short.
Any ideas?
