help ! what have i done

tried to softmod my xbox via ftp and action replay2 007.

any way, followed instructions etc, and when i went to try it, i know get
a green screen saying,service required, call customer support.

so,
I thought,
if i delete all the files i put on the xbox, this would solve the problem,
i am wrong.

when i switch on, it looks as if its going to work, then up pops that screen,
it is as if the problem occurs just before the ms dash should come up.

it still plays origanals, but it wont load to ms dash, just that error.

i never done a back up ! idiot iam.
the only thing i could think is wrong is the xboxdash.xbe file. I changed the file back to xtf and then sent it back to the xbox, but, just the same,it
wont load on to the ms dash, just the error screen.

please help, what have i done, or what have i missing

i forgot to say, it says 13 at the top left, i presume that is the error code.

Don't know what it means, but...

Error 13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

i presume that the file, xboxdash.xbe is corrupt, but i dont know
if i can download this file anywhere, i think that is why my xbox
is not booting into ms dash.

Get a good boot disc like Atomix or Slayers. There should be an option to rebuild the hdd.

but he cant use it if he dont have it chipped, best thing to do is get the cheapest non solder modchip you can, and then errrrr, keep it lol, or get it repaired :), but a cheap no-solder mod would do it so you could boot the slayers etc

got it fixed,
I booted 007, and used the hack to get evou-x ,ftp to pc,

then i installed the 4920 dashboard from slayers 2.5.

That put my xbox back to normal state, and then i re-softmodded it.

Yep somettime the action replay memeory card can corrupt files its best to use the microsoft memory card if possible
