I have a v7 PS2 with a Matrix Infinity installed. I have been experimenting with putting programmes on the memory card. I can ftp to the MC and explore whats on it, which makes it a lot easier than having to burn cds all the time.
The Matrix infinity manager instuctions say that you can boot a programme from the MC by holding down R1 as you hit reset.
Press R1 on joypad 1.
- If installed, the default boot application (mc0:BOOT/BOOT.ELF) will
be launched.
I have a BOOT folder on the MC containing a BOOT.ELF file. (ps2menu.elf renamed) but I can't get this to work. Does the BOOT folder need to contain more than just the elf file? Can anyone give me any guidance on where I'm going wrong please?
