just unscrew the 6 torx screws (4 under rubber feet, 2 under stickers) and hold it by the lid and drop the xbox onto your lap gripping the lid

You will have to do a LPC rebuild on the new crystals as they seem to all be v1.6 so make sure you have M8 for the 1.6 on the chip

yes all crystal xboxes can be modded but there are 2 diffrent 1.6s out there 1.6 and 1.6b both need the evox m8 1.6 bios but there is a second 1.6 m8 specific for 1.6b if you flash with the wrong bios on the 1.6b you will have problems with games freezing and fragging

yeah, just flash all 1.6`s with the "evox m8plus" bios, as this contains both sets of ram timings for the 1.6 (samsumg ram chips) and 1.6b (hynix ram chips)

so the evox m8 1.6 is for samsung only
and evox m8 1.6 plus will do either samsung or hynix
