No, the mac is designed to run on the powerpc chipset which is a true RISC processor. Intel and AMD are essentially stripped down CISC processors so dont have the right instruction set. You would need an emulator but I have never seen one that I would use. A couple of shareware ones available but probably quite unreliable. Never used any of these emulators but may be worth a bash if you really have to use Mac OS X on an intel or amd chip.
The unix underpinings in Mac OS X make it possible to use OS X but you cant use anything from OS 9 backwards.
