As above really!!

I got a bloke at work to install some new harware etc...he's also put it into a new case.

Problem is (i think) that it kept on crashing...the cpu got too hot, as the fan blows right onto the psu(there is only about 1inch gap between the top of the fan, and the PSU).

So to fix it i unscrewed the psu, and it sits loose inside the pc...the side cover is not on...the pc is open. Obviously this means it doesn't get too hot.

So...how should i fix it? Get a new case (this one is only about 12 inches high)? Will this mean i can move the psu away from the cpu fan? More fans? where should i place them?

So many questions...as u can guess - i don't really have a clue:insane: !! It would be a help if your solutions are fairly cheap - as £'s are abit short at the mo!!

Sounds like you need a larger case with a rear mounted exhaust fan and better overall ventillation. That's why I always prefer cases with plenty of fan mounts.
Have you checked the CPU and case temps?
