build ur own projection tvs

theres loads of adverts on ebay selling projection lens that claim if u spend about an hour and about 10 quids worth off material u can make ur own projection screen. alot off people say it works. i bought the lens and plans for about 6 pounds or something, i am going to give it a go to see if it works! has any1 else tried at and got results? if it works it would be amazing!

imho, this method has been out years now, if it were any good every house would have thier own set ups, complete with cardboard tubes and sticky tape and an upside down tv.
rear projection tv`s of 40" and over are really value for money now having fallen in price by around 2/3 in the last 18-24 months, also offering a great alternative to high priced plasma or lcd`s, but alas can`t compete with a tenner.
