My Computer in Internet History - Why??

Only recently a new item 'My Computer' has started appearing in my internet history which displays all the files opened and viewed on the computer. Im sure this never used to be here and would quite like to get shot of it.

Could it be a virus/spyware of some sort?

I think this is happening because those files were opened with your browser. For example, some computers open JPEG files with Internet Explorer.

Did you actually open those files? If you're worried about spyware, then try scanning your computer with Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) or Spybot S&D (http://security.kolla.de).

It's a normal entry for any Windows based machine. Don't worry about it. Most likely you must have not noticed it before.
