nec 3500 beta4 firmware

anyone used this beta4 firmware that allows you to burn at higher speed on 4 speed disks? im thinking of trying it, but thing is the drive is in a duplicator so ive got to pull it out to update the firmware, plus will it even have the desired effect in a duplicator?

or nothing ventured nothing gained :) if it works ill burn twice as fast as i am now so might give it a tryt the weekend, i can always reflash it with original firmware (i hope)
