Problems with Star Ocean

im trying to play star ocean but the games loading times are soo long. i always get this "Loading data from disc" thing popping up, and have to wait like 2 min loading into battles. i know its not my laser because i just had it replace with a brand new v10 laser 2 weeks ago.

how is everyone else's backup of this game?

Have you made your own backup or are u using the ptc one. I've not yet tried burning the ptc one as people have said that it doesn't load up at all, and when I look at the image with isobuster there are only 3 files showing on the disc?

The PTC version works you have to burn it at 1x with good media works fine for me now as having problems with it before. When you get the loading from disc screen which I sometimes get means you laser is having a hard time reading it and well... that might mean your laser could be going out like mine is.

i just had my laser replace with a new v10..maybe i should try to burn at 1x

Thanks, burned my image at 1x with dvddecrypter onto ritek g04 disks and it works fine.
