Can't free space on hard drive!!

I recently transfered video footage from my digital camera to my pc which took up about 15 Gigs of space and filled up my hard drive.
I then deleted the clips which were stored in My Videos but found my hard drive is still full and hasnt gone down at all. I should have about 15 gigs available after deleting them. i also emptied the recycle bin to no avail. Any idea how to solve this? Cheers

Set your explorer to view all files. Now search (find) for the files modified on or after the required date.

I have norton but pretty sure it wasnt protected.

Hi MarkPrendy, are you sure your recycle bin isnt in norton protected mode? the other way to see where the files are is as Mastermind has said, if you can recall what the files were called then its even easier, just do a search for the file extension ie .VOB the search will find them and show you where they are being kept.
