Release group tags and audio/video syncing...

I've got some XVIDS films with release tags on the beginning - lasting around 6 seconds.

When I convert in TMPGenc, the movie is always out of sync. I have tried starting the source after the tag but it's still badly out of sync.

What's the best course of action in this situation?

These are AVI's?

Try frameserving with AVISynth and using trim() to remove the tag. If it uses VBR mp3 then you also need to use EnsureVBRmp3Sync(). If the script plays in sync it should also convert in sync.

Are you encoding to (S)VCD or DVD? Because that is the forum this should be in.
