Hi guys
can anybody direct me to a good 'how to' guide (or give me a brief explanation)on how to put video in mpg or divx format on CD so they can be played on a standalone dvd player?

Also, what is the best way to split a mpeg/divx video that is too big too fit on a CD

Thanks

Errr, they said CD not DVD though. Moving this to the VCD forum.

That is what you will want VCD or SVCD, the DivX (AVI? OGM? MKV? mp4?) file will need converting. The mpg assuming it is (S)VCD compliant will not.

MPEG1 you can split with TMPGEnc, MPEG2 you may get sync problems. DivX, it depends on the container format.
