tmgenc has always worked well for me provided the source is nice and you rip the audio off of it first

What is Canopus Pro Coder like for speed.

I know CCE is the fastest but it is not the easisest to use as you cant just drop files straight into it.

TMPGEnc 2.5 does the job but is not very fast.

TMPGENC Xpress forget this, it takes twice the amount of time to encode over 2.5 i dont really understand this as they should use the same engine.

Been wanting to give Pro Coder ago but at $500 it isexpensive and if it dont work very well then it is a waste.

Opinions ?

Canopus is a little faster than TMPGEnc but no grear shakes. It is however very easy and good quality.
