How to mail someone through the board -
You can either locate the member you want to contact on the member list, or click the "E-mail" button on any post made by that member.
When you have finished typing your message, press the "send email" button and your message will be sent instantly.
How to get an image in your post -
Copy the link to your image into the post and use IMG tags around it as it's done below without any spaces between the IMG tags and the link.

To insert your E-mail address in a post or your signature -
[*mail]Ant212@yahoo.com[/*mail] without the * and no spaces.
To make a text link, type [*mail=Ant212@yahoo.com]Mail Me[/*mail] again replacing the *, which will show up as the following. Mail Me (Ant212@yahoo.com)
Why the black dots on the envelopes? - This is there to show where you posted to a thread. It is for convenience sake, in case you want to keep track of where you posted.
To get to the chat room -
The servers are any of the following:
webmaster.ca.us.webchat.org
chat.planetz.net
chat.webmaster.com
The channel is #dvdrom_guide
To use java chat - Click Chat which is located at the top left of the screen in the dark blue bar. You can get to it directly, by going to this link. http://www.dvdrom-guide.com/chat.shtml
To download mIRC, which I highly recommend doing, go HERE (http://www.mirc.com/get.html).
Once in the channel, you must choose a nickname. Type /nick "your nickname", without the quotations, and press enter. You have a limited amount of time to choose a nickname before you are kicked out. The bot or a mod will warn you first though.
It is a good idea to register your nickname so no one can impersonate you. While you are logged in with your nickname, type /ns register "your password" "your E-mail address", without the quotations marks, of course. Press enter. You do have to use your real E-mail address.
However be reminded that after three weeks of inactivity your nickname will no longer be registered and anyone else is free to register it.
