ok i know that i should have listened to the people here and stayed away from the cheap media.i have some GQ dvd-rs Manufacturer ID: LEADDATA01 and when i try to boot it up swap magic just stays on the screen for like 3 min and then i get the red boarder. i tried to copy def jam vendetta using dvd decrypter. i made a mds file and burnedit at 2x an i doing anything wrong or is it the media?

Probably the media. Although did you check out the swap magic sticky listed above? Some games need to be patched or use CD Loader. Also TOC sizes make a difference.
