I have downloaded a video that is in the following format "TITLE.vcd.mpg.001" to "TITLE.vcd.mpg.049" They are all 15 meg files and are complete as they came with par recovery files. What i need to know is how to convert them to a cd or one film. I have iso buster and vcd gear but theyt do not seem to do anything. Any help would be great.
Cheers guys
Uncle
they look like renamed .rar files to me, suppose its worth a shot extracting (or trying :))

Did you run the PAR? Because looks to me like it could be just a split file, but then in such a case quickpar should join them, so yeah I guess rar files.

Ive always used smart par to recover rar files but have never seen them as multiple mpg files.
If any one could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

look like hjsplit to me. it always splits to .****.001 where **** is the original file extension.
par files can be made for any files so quite plausible.

Quick par has the option to split and join files. Copy /b also works fine for joining.

Try manually opening the first file with Winrar. If that doesn't work, I guess you could give HJSplit a try...I haven't used it in a while, but it named files with similar extensions...

Open the first part with VirtualDub. If it opens as an incomplete mpg then what you have is a split file as suggested here.
