PCTV Can I Connect NTL Digi Though It

Lookin at getting a PCTV card http://www.microlandtechnology.com/products.asp?partno=VC0800

What i want to know is , if i get a splitter and run the coax cable from the NTL digi box in to the PCTV Card will it pick up the channels ?? . Or do i need a pecific PCTV card ? . basically im after recording stuff from NTL to my HD and if this cant do this its a waste of my money. Any help would be appreciated .

For best results you would want a DVB-C card - then you can just pull the digital stream straight onto your hard drive without any quality loss. You could connect it through the card you've linked, but you'd have to change channels through the box and the quality wouldn't be as good.
