Will this kill my xbox????

Ive got a chipped xbox which use a Executer 2 lite chip and running Evo Dash etc.

I want to replace the chip with an aladdin Adavance so I can do xbox live etc.

If I do a straight swap will this still work ok??

Yes you can swap them, but I believe your mod already has a disable mode to go on xbox live.

there should be a jumper on the chip. You either have to remove it or put one on the 2 pins. I believe the lite has 2 jumpers. 1 to switch between bios bank 1 and 2, 1 for write protect, and 1 for enable/disable chip.

Take the lid off the xbox and take a look at the chip. You can also buy and add on piece to have external toggle switches like the newer lite chips have. Or you can put your own toggle switches on them.

hi mate, if its an xecuter 2 lite, they jumpers inside, theres nothing wrong with this chip, it would be safer to stick with the chip you have a just remove the jumper for mod enable disable, and solder 2 wires, one to each point, then put a switch on, and just solder one wire to each point on the switch.

removing the chip is gonna be dodgy, specially if your not experienced in soldering and solder removal, means applying a lot of heat to the points, then depending with way the chips been installed (pin or wire) removing, and then applying even more heat re-installing the chip.

Not for sure but I know he could solder 2 wires and a switch to the on/off pins comming from the chip
