Downloaded A CD and Its one LONG MP3 - But it has a .CUE file

As title says, i downloaded RHCP - Live in Hyde Park, Been trying to get for ages, listening to it now but bit pissed off cos literally took 2 days to get it (suprnova - cudnt be arsed queing on mIRC and Newsbin one had already been taken off). Odd thing is its got a cue file, does this mean it is possible to urn the tracks and they end up seperatly so u can actually skip to a track u want?

Yep and because it is a single file you don't get any gaps between tracks.

totally depends on how the cue file has been built. It could either just address the mp3 file as one, or may have "chapters" built in so you can skip to the tracks.

The only way of telling is to open the cue file in notepad and see what is listed.

it shows the different pieces, now how can i burn this to work with the file and split the tracks up?

Burn it the same as any other CUE, although not all will support mp3/cue's. In such a case just decode the mp3 to wav and replace mp3 with wav in the cue.

had to edit the cue as u sed and the file names where different to the cues so changed them aswell (weird i know), converted the mp3's to wav, burned with alcohol 120%, works perfect, thanks celtic and tierra! :D
