virus help

hi need some help getting rid of a virus im running avg but keep getting a warning popping up says that i have worm/lovesan.A and to run avg for windows so i do this but avg does not find it have downloaded the updates still the same i googled the virus and tried some of the removal tools didnt work any help would be appreciated

The major mistake I have seen till date is that System Restore feature is not disabled by Xp users during the virus removal. Is that the case with you too? Which OS you are using?

cheers m8 yes im using xp just turned of system resore will try deleting it now
