Just curious...xbox hd and games question

I keep reading about storing xbox games on pc and then transferring it over to your hard drive via ethernet or home network..
My question is, is it possible to do this without internet or home network?

Use dvd2xbox, it transfers the games into the hdd straight from the dvdrom.

You can hook xbox straight to pc or laptop via a crossover cable.
I have wireless be at home and found out it was just a lot faster for me to hook my laptop up directly to my xbox
Just use an ftp program to transfer files like flashfxp it works great!
(no interent required, batteries not included ;))
