The first problem I have is that when I set me default connection to "Always dial My Default Connection" it works up until I turn off the computer. Then I have to select the same setting again. I am the only User on the computer (administrator) and I have XP Pro.

The second problem is if I leave my computer for about an hour or so downloading something the internet will only allow a connection to the download. If I try any loadup outlook express I get an Error and when I open up Internet explorer it says "Page cannot be displayed" This only happens if I leave the Internet on or the Internet on and downloading.

Can Anyone Help?

I have never really seen any probs with RAS under XP, of course Win9x was a greatly different story.

I can only think that one of the registry keys such as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\RasAuto has become corrupted. A backup of the reg (of course) followed by deletion of the key and a reboot may fix this, but incomparison to Win9x, a reinstall of RAS or DUN isn't something that is usually done

the second problem could also be related to this but could also just be a problem with the ADSL connection or drivers.

It may be worth recreating the connection as well as it may be this that is corrupted.
