AVI TO MPEG Help

Just wondering but what program would you guys recommend to convert AVI files to MPEG. The ones i have a REALLY slow. want it to give me good quality and fast as possible

would be a good idea to say what you have, as each persons opinions are different.

personal choice for ease of use/speed/quality is tmpgenc but have a look around dvdrhelp.com or doom9 for more options and reviews.

If you mean MPEG1, then yeah I agree, TMPGEnc.

If you want speed I should point out that in my limited testing having AVISynth do the resizing rather than TMPGEnc resulted in a 30% speed increase.

theres no quick way to do this stuff m8..only by sacrifcing quality.."cucusoft" do a good s/ware for what you want.
