Missing ESPN 2005

Is there a reason ESPN 2005 has not been released for the Xbox yet? It seems strange since it came out 2 days ago for the PS2.

A reason? I'm guessing no one here would know as none of us here work for any release groups. Patience is all I could suggest as it shouldn't be much longer. If you're that crazy about getting a hold of this game, why not buy it? :idea:

It's only $20 and EB will trade you too for something old so you'll get even more of a break... here in the states that is. It's a great game too!! :)

Wow! what is wrong with you people. What makes you think I don't already have the game?!? I just thought it was very strange that the PS2 version was released 3 days before the Xbox version. I wondered if there was new protection scheme that was in place that was stopping it from being released. Why you would assume I am being impatient or that I don't own the game is beyond me. These releases are supposed to be for backup purposes. All I wanted to know was if anyone had heard a reason for the strange delay and I get attacked. I see it has been released now but I am still curious why it took 3 days longer to release the Xbox version compared to the PS2 version.

I just found out that it has been released but it won't fit on a dvdr so you can only play it from your harddrive. That is the reason for the delay. I knew there was something strange going on. I would seriously like to ask people to NEVER say "Buy the Game!" on this forum again. It only makes you sound like an idiot. Also, just because someone has a question about a game being released, it doesn't mean they are impatient. They really might have a question so answer it or don't say anything at all.

I am by no means a "newbie". I have been going to this site/cdrom-guide.com for well over 3 years. I used to sell backups on the old BST. I have developed enough personal contacts that I rarely have a need to post questions on this forum anymore. I come to this site every single day during the week. The only reason that I don't have many posts is because this site is so new. I have a simple question of why a game is taking so long to come out and I am attacked. There was a reason that the game hadn't come out. The game does not fit on a single DVDR. No one would actually try to answer my question though, everyone here wanted to tell me to "buy" the game and stop being impatient. That is what makes me upset. I thought this was a place where people could ask legitimate questions about backing up xbox games. I don't know of a more legitimate question for a forum like this than "why can't this game be backed up". I would hope that in the future, no one will attack people for asking questions about backing up Xbox games on the Video Game Backup - Xbox forums.

I attempted to answer your question by guessing that no group has gotten the chance to release it yet but all you could focus on was me calling you impatient (of which I apologized for and have yet to get one back from you...not as though I would expect one from someone with an attitude like yours) and taking it to heart, then calling me an idiot in retort.

If you feel that hard done by and not helped out enough here, then may I suggest you continue participating (or lack thereof by your own admission) at CDRG rather than here.

And afterall the game was cheap... at Target this week it's only $15.88 so if you don't want to buy the game it doesn't matter to me. :insane:

I just found out on another thread that i was suspended for my posts on this thread. I don't reall know why but its not a big deal. Anyways, I want to make it very clear that I do indeed own the game and I am not really sure how everyone assumes that I don't own the game. I am a seller. I sell backups. I have customers that have been asking me for this game for sometime now. I have finally been able to supply them with what they want since it has been released. Someone telling me to go buy the game doesn't really help me all that much since I obviously sell the backups to my customers for less than $19.99. I was very upset with the responses I recieved that day. I am more calm now and I am not trying to start anything or be pissy. I just want to say that I don't understand why people here instantly post "buy the game" when someone asks a question about a backup. I always thought this was the type of place where you ask questions like what I asked. If this is not the place, I would like to ask if anyone here knows of a better place to ask these questions. If I offended anyone I am sorry.

FYI its not a good idea to call a mod (or anybody) an idiot. I think people were unsure of what you were asking for since you didn't state whether you were looking for a backup or original.

Sorry taggs, unfortunately we are @ssholes first and helpful second. We have a nice community here, we are bunch of imaginitve people and have some fun when allowed to. This thread was an oppurtunity for creative rhetoric. I'll try not to be an @ss if you do the same and I'm sure others(but not all) will do the same.

Well...you never once said this was so you could make illegal copies of it and sell it as pirated material. Would have saved a lot of time and hassle with me just closing the thread in the first place. Anyhoo, there's always that other board to go to. Smokafatty can keep an eye on ya over at BST. :)
