AVI to MPG converter please (my avi is only 2mb)

please help Im looking for a really simple free prog that will simply convert my small (Digital camera created) AVI file its only 2.2mb and 20 secs in length

To a (S)VCD or DVD compliant mpg?? You posed in both forums. Going to close the other one for now.

You want MPEG1 (VCD) or MPEG2 (SVCD)?

For VCD try TMPGEnc.
