what is the red jumper for?

also will this chip allow me to swap the HDD? i have broke my HDD so i have a new one on the way (its a origional with all apps installed but its not off this motherboard, will it just plug and play?, thanks)

the red jumper could be either a "flash protect on/off" or a mod disable (modchip on /off) for xbox live!

theres that many different variations of the cheapmod its hard to tell, i dont use them that much mate.

this chip is relfashable (99% certain) so, as long as your bios supports it, then no problems, ask whoever you got it off which bios is on there.
this new hdd will work providing whoever you got it off has unlocked it, and yes providing that :-
A., your chip has a hdd swap enabled bios (more than likely will)
b., the new hdd is unlocked

then its just plug and play mate
