just got the bt basic broadband thing but it means i can't use outlook express with my previous isp (ntl) i use an online e-mail account but it's crap is there any way i can use outlook express again

yeah, you'll need you pop3 server address (which should be the one that was there originally if you had it working with ntl before)- username and pass word which i assume u know as you are able to access your account via mail

as for the outgoing smtp address, chances you won't be able use NTL's one anymore, you should be able to use bt's though- assuming you have got an account with them, you will need to find it out from their site. failing that you maybe able to use something like yahoo though not 100% sure that'd work.

e.g. i have 3 accounts (uni,yahoo and isp) setup in outlook, all using their correct paop3 accounts, but all need to go through blueyonder's smtp address.
