Usb ports not working very well...help needed

hi guys, i recently got a new pc, its a amd athlon barton 3000+ with a adrock motherboard k7s8x

the problem is that the pc has 6 usb ports, 4 at the bacl and 2 at the front, and i connect my gamepad to one of them and sometimes it works, but often i will be playing a game and the controller stops working.

also some of the ports don't reconize the gamepad and says its malfunctioned or doesn't do anything, any ideas guys?

yeah i have installed some drivers, but is there some offical drivers?

Check the USB headers on the mobo to make sure the wires are connected in the correct positions (pins). Pay attention to the Data+ and Data- wires.

Yes, check the connection to the mobo. The way my case is set up the front USB wires barily reach the mobo and it often comes lose.

Also, like Van said, make sure everything is plugged in the correct places.
