Hi there,
does anyone know if it is possible to format a PS2 memory card. My jiggery-pokery trying to install the hdloader onto the MC has corrupted it. Theres nothing to delete (empty) / only reading 6megs free / wont let any game save to it.
Bit annoying that Sony didnt include a 'format' option in the browser......

Actually, I have a distant recollection of someone posting a couple of years ago that The Simpsons Road Rage has the option to format a memory card. Can anyone confirm this or is my mind playing tricks on me.........

AR & GS both have card utils, athough I don't know if format is one.

Okay, Ive just downloaded a bin/cue called 'MemoryCard Killer'. Sounds promising - will try later.
Edit - MC Killer just hanging on black screen for me - bugger, back to square one......

Buy, Rent, or Borrow the game Medal of Honor: Frontline. Insert the corrupted memory card into Slot 1 and start the game. When it tries to save, it will detect the corrupted memory card and allow you to reformat it.

Cheers for the info Qwerty. I actually found a newer version of "memory card Killer' that worked a treat. Memory card fully functional again :-)
