Hello Everyone,
This might be in the wrong place (Sorry if it is) but I am just learning about manipulating and editing digital photos and wanted to know what other people are using.
I am currently using Adobe Photoshop but it is pretty complicated. As such, I was wondering if there are any good but easier programs available. If not, are there any tutorials available? I have googled the topic but the tutorials I have found are disappointing.
Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.

I think photoshop is probably the best, and there are a couple of "idiot" guide books out there that might help you. It's also the most popular, which make help easier to find.
You can use just about any program for editing, even paint, will do minor editing. "Picture-it express" isn't bad, and its pretty straightforward.

It depends on what you mean by "manipulating and editing" :)
PhotoShop is certainly one of the best, and widely used for image editing, but if all you want is minor editing, like brightness, contrast, colour balance, cropping, etc., then sometines PhotoShop is a bit of overkill.
I have found Paint Shop Photo Album to be all rounded and easy to use for home digital photo

However, taking the time to learn PhotoShop wouldbe good. It will do a world more that Photo Album.

I have been using photoshop for years and didn't know jack about it till I bought a book called "The Photoshop CS Book for digital photographers". Most books I saw where explaining how to do other things that had nothing to do with pictures. (People actually go to college to learn to use Photoshop on a proffesional level) But, this book breaks down all the things that you want to use it for, and breaks it down Barney style for even the most basic users. I went from just taking pics occasionally to selling my photos in a frame shop now. I'm sorry if this sounds like a commercial for it, but It is an awesome book. Barnes and Noble has it.
