Greetings,
I just ordered some 4x Ritek Printables and was wondering if I can use any old printer to print these DVDs, or do I need a special kind? Thanks.

I wouldn't want to try a dot matrix.

I have a Canon i865 which I have found to be far superior to the epsons. Cartridges are also cheap.

That answers it though, the rest are just consumer opinions.

Dot matrix would be interesting! Can you still get ribbons for those?
You of course need a printer that doesn't require paper to go around a roller. As already noted Canon & Epson make versions & there are others if you look.

Companies and Businesses that require carbon paper duplicates still use Dot Matrix Printers.
If you ever shop at someplace like Office Depot or Staples, they still charge you ~$300 for a Brand New 9-pin Dot Matrix printer. ...believe it or not.
