Unknown modchip and bios

I have an unknowned modchip , I was told before fitting it is based on the xecutor code. I installed an evox dash , and it says my bios are unknown.
Is it safe to flash my bios with the program on my dash or should i leave it just in case. I want to install a bigger hard drive eventually , so will i need to flash them?

If your BIOS is based on the xecutor code u should be able to fit a bigger HDD as it is.

...As the old saying goes 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'

...In other words, install the HDD and see if it works.
