Downloaded a movie (avi) and burnt it in the usual way. Tried to watch it last night on my xbox using XBMC (which plays everything) and after about 20 minutes the screen just goes black, rebooted a few times and tried to fast forward past the frames but keeps on going down.

today i tried laing the file on the PC, windows media player won't play it at all, tried divx playa, it plays it fine until it gets to the same scene, then it flicks itself back 2 minutes and does it again and again.... but i CAN skip past it.

how do i remove these frames and put the movie back together again?

please someone help, or just point me in the direction of a good tutorial:)

im not familiar with bxox's . .... but could you not re-encode with tmpgenc and use the 'source range' to cut the damaged / rogue scenes
