howdy all,

My question is do you need to use a program like dvd shrink with Intervideo dvd copy 2 for dvd-9's. Also if dvd-9's or dvd-5's are incripted will Intervideo dvd copy 2 burn them or will dvd shrink take care of that for intervideo to burn them? I have a another question. is there any difference between dvd copy and dvd copy 2 and win dvd from intervideo?

thanks all,

Tedman :insane:

You wont need DVD Shrink as well as dvd copy 2, but you will need a program to decrypt your DVD's
Note: InterVideo DVD Copy cannot be used to copy CSS-encrypted discs. DVD Decrypter will do this for you and it's freeware.

DVD Copy has a built in burning features also.

The difference between dvd copy and dvd copy 2 can be viewed here :

WinDVD Platinum 5 is just a DVD software player.

If you are thinking of purchasing dvd copy why not try DVD Shrink (freeware) first as it will do everything for you i.e. Rip/Compress/Burn. The burn function hooks up with either Nero (if installed) or DVD Decrypter (freeware).
Dont be put off by the fact that it's free, the results are comparable to most commercial offerings.
