If you mention a mod chip they will close the auction. List it as having special features and tell people to email you for details. This may get it closed as well, but you have a better chance of selling it if you get creative. Avoid the word modded and chip.

Just say it's a rare limited edition unit and for prospective buyers to email you for further details. That sounds about right to me. :)

The only problem with that is rare limited edition mean an LE. At least that what I would think a rare limited edition would be.

Maybe say its customized.

To me the word customized would indicate something fishy if I was moderating sales posts at eBay, but that's me.

If you kept the box you could just advertise that, I hear they go well :)

Tell them that there's a secret bonus included and to e-mail you for furthor details.

The best way is to put "Special" or "Rare" and then in the discription list something like "Contains X2" (implying the name of the chip.) Anyways, yes it is most definitely against regulations to sell one on there. Whenever you list something like a console or game they normally give you a warning about it.
