View Full Version : SCSI command failed.

I get this message when trying to burn to dvd using NERO.I have an external Pioneer 106 and using WinXP on my laptop.
Any help would be appreciated.

SCSI errors are usually ASPI related. Try installing ASPI drivers.

installed latest ASPI drivers,still no luck.will not even work on simulation mode,only occurs burning dvd,not cdr?

Lots of folk are reporting this problem with USB2 external drives.
Some are having better success with dvd+r's.

just tried a usb2 pc card in the pcmcia slot,plugged in the burner,and hey presto managed to burn a dvd.
the question now is how come it works this way but not in the original usb ports?
I am happy I can do it this way but just wondered why it won't do it the other way.
