:wavey: Hey, this may be a long shot but I'm hoping some of you remember the N64 days and the Gamesharks... I just got a gameshark for the N64 at a flea market, cleaned it up and tried to play it and well... It turns on with the N64, in the little LED screen it says "8." whatever that means and nothing happens. I've cleaned it very well by now and I try other games and they boot great but I cant get a menu screen or anything on this Gameshark. All I know is there is at least power going to it and I dont know what could be wrong...
Also, I already tried gameshark.com (they've taken down the N64 sections) and other sites for N64 Gameshark codes and so on and there is nothing on troubleshooting the Gameshark or anything..
I've been tinkering around with it and I got to properly count down from five but it never booted and I've been getting numbers like 1,7, and 8 and sometimes there is a period at the end and some not.
