I've got the option in DVD Shrink ticked for 'enable burning with nero'.
Does this mean that Nero should automatically start burning the back up once Shrink as finished the encoding process?

thanks

yes aslong as you have a blank in the writer.or it will just wait until you put one in.

Seems i've got a problem then because mine doesn't do that.
When it comes to the 'back up' screen it juat says 'select target device' which allows me to select ISO Image, hdd folder or my dvd writer from the drop down.

I've looked at guides to using dvd shrink and it should say 'burn with nero to the following device'.(as shown here).I've made sure the option is ticked in DVD Shrink preferences, any help please.

thats just the way it works. It's using the nero software to burn, but not the interface. If you wanna burn with nero with all the bells and whistles, then you have to save it to your hard drive and burn it as a dvd vid through nero.................so to answer your question, no the full version of nero doesn't actually start.

I can't understand why mine doesn't say 'Burn with Nero to the following device' like in the picture.

If all else fails you could try the new DVD Shink/DVD Decrypter method. It will now link to DVD Decrypter and burn it in ISO mode. DVD Decrypter is freeware so it won't cost you anything should you decide to go that route.

I use theDVD Shink/DVD Decrypter method at the moment but would have preffered it to start burning the disk with Nero instead.

thanks
