softmod help

Im a total newbie at this. Im trying to softmod using the mechassualt method. So far I have evolutionx on and Im trying to make a connection with flashfxp, but I cant get any files up. It says its connected to my xbox but it displays no files. I know this sounds abit lame, but today is the first time I have even touched a xbox. Im fine with ps2 though.:)

when you go to the settings screen, does an ip addy show up at the top? dhcp or static?

Soted it now m8. It was flashfxp, my pc didnt like it for some reason. DL aceftp and it worked straight away. Thanks for taking a look though. much apprechiated.
