printer help please

ok first off sorry if this is wrong forum to post this in please feel free to remove or move

ok got a epsom 810 photo printer but its going though black cartridges like hot cakes i do 6 prints and its run out anyone help

the cart i have been using are inkxl found at www.inkxl.com (http://www.inkxl.com) has anyone had problems with these inks before or am i due a new printer

the only thing i can say is try printing in mid resolution not the highest see if that helps, i have never hear of a ink drying out in 6 prints, only if the paper is super wet with ink then theres a problem.

Hi Chris, not sure what settings you be useing, but if U not useing 720dpi Do so Now....You don't really need 1440 n U Definately DO NOT need 2880...

it allows you to check cartridges individually etc.. you'd be amazed how much extra printing you can get when 'the chip' says it's empty..
