Which chip to get and from where??? Pls help out a noob?!?! =)

Hey peepz,
I've decided to step into the xbox scene finally and don't know crap about it. Only been in the PS2 scene. So can anyone tell me which modchip is the best for xbox? I mean, doesn't have to be the highest $60 modchip.. but one that will just play some backup dvd/cdr games and watch backup movies.

Also, I heard you can't just burn a game and play it on the xbox like you would with ps2 games. Ftp them to the xbox and yadda yadda then you can burn them or what not. Can someone PLEASE help me out and explain? Any other tips would highly be appreciated =)

chip wise... don't really need the high cost chip.. any chip or not chip would be fine..
no chip? - TSOP , exploits and other of that sort.. and yes play same as PS2.. and even better with installed HD.. but you should start on reading more and don't understand some part than start asking question... don't just start asking questions... too many to answer... or to explain

Get an alladin advance or apple X V chip as they are under $20 and are already flashed with a bios unlike some other chips.

yea i've heard of those. And i think the latest one out is Alladin XX?? or something like that? What's the difference?

Don't worry about 'difference's' in chips m8, smokafatty was merely helping u to get a chip that is 'preflashed'.

...As u admit to being a total 'n00b' it's crucial that u get a chip that's 'preflashed'.

Thats all u need to worry about at this stage.
