Hey,

Awhile ago I flashed my Gainward 5900 to the 5950 bios. Everything is cool there. Problem is I want to use the VIVO on it, But never ever ever ever used VIVO before and cant get the fooker to work. Ulead dont seea device and neither does showbiz. I connect my VCR to it. Does anyone know if the VIVO works under the new bios I flashed? Do I have to sacrifice a virgin, do cartwheels and fart or perform an exorcizim to get this to work?

Thanks for any help.

I believe you do need to install the nVidia VIVO drivers. The Detonator drivers should have it included.

BTW, if you wanna fart on it, turn the system (and all fans) off to get the best result.

 I should probably get some White Castles first for maxium fart force and smell!!!

I dont know if the WDM drivers were installed, I did however have to download a new set of drivers for the card from nvidia, and wasnt sure if it included the VIVO drivers. I will have a look when I get home from hell.

If it doesn't, this is Ze Site (http://www.nvidia.com/object/wdm_winxp-2k-Me-98se_2.13) for ur convenience.

Ok, flashed it using the bfg 5950 bios, still no VIVO. This was a confirmed bios that worked with VIVO. WDM drivers are installed. Showbiz, ulead and intervideo get a black screen. Devices are functioning properly. I am missing something? Is there special way to get this to work? Farting didnt work:mad: I know my friend has the same card, I am going to get his bois and try it.

I went through dispaly properties and advanced tab. There was nothing indicating this. I did change to were it could contect to a tv though. I am trying to connect my vcr to it and transfer some tapes to dvd.
