Software for Xbox

i just put in a mod chip for a friend and now i am looking for software. i found the newest version of exox and an ftp client but i am still looking for a program that will copy a game from the dvd 2 hard drive in 1 step and a good media player. i have searching google and yahoo non stup and every time i find something it says i cant download it because it was made with microsoft source code. can someone help me out and point me in the right direction?

i am not asking for software i just need a nudge in the right direction like different forums or sites to search

i just tried to install an alladin avance mod chip and when i put the Evox install cd into the xbox it looks like it is going to boot but then it goes back to the dash and gives me the disc error anyone have any advice? also the directions say that the light is supposed to turn red and blink when i hold the power button down but when i do nothing special happens it either turns on or off.

Evox cd not playing requires some troubleshooting, try burning the image onto cdrw, then dvdrw, if that doesn't work try adding about 250-500mb of dummy files(take any file and rename the the file extension to .DAT) and then trying it again, qwix is my choice for Xiso images so try that program if your using something else. Good Luck the evox cd's are just plain picky and work only out of magic sometimes.

ok i tried the dummy file thing and i added more and more filed and got to about a gig and a half but i get the same thing but now the microsoft logo stays a little bit longer but nothing else

Are trying to get EVOXCD +3935 to work? If so try Slayers, or any other auto installer you can get your hands on, I've tried Slayers and Bones auto installer, going to give x-disk(unleashx auto installer) a try tonight. Sorry I can't be more help, but they are just picky.
