I haven't bought a gamecube yet. Just want to make sure I can use my pc to stream.

I already have a network card in for my small home network.

Will I be able to add another network card to use for streaming to GC only? or will it cause conflict?

Also do the games load completely or are the streamed in on new levels etc?

Also is it easy to do once you get used to it?

Thanks

'Ere u go m8, answered in full...

Will I be able to add another network card to use for streaming to GC only? or will it cause conflict?

-Yep, no worries, use a x-over cable straight to your GC for the easiest connection.

Also do the games load completely or are the streamed in on new levels etc?

-Data streaming is dependant on a game-by-game basis. It's exactly the same as if you had your original disc in the drive, in other words. Some games stream continualy, some load up fully in one hit. Small games, like N64 games are great!

Also is it easy to do once you get used to it?

-Yep, very easy.

Thanks

-No worries m8, glad to help

Thanks for the perfect reply m8.

Just another couple of questions:-

Do I have to get the old version of Phantasy Star 1+2?
Or can I get any version of PSO1+2?
Or will PSO3 work?

I have no problems getting the BBA. And I can network it no problem as I do my xbox all the time.

So playing from pc hdd is just as if playing from GC disk? Same load speed etc?

Thanks for all the help.

Do I have to get the old version of Phantasy Star 1+2?

-Yes, ideally dated 2002 on the back of the case.

Or can I get any version of PSO1+2?

-Later versions are patched to prevent streaming exploit.

Or will PSO3 work?

-No.

So playing from pc hdd is just as if playing from GC disk? Same load speed etc?

-Yep, roughly same load speed, FMV/cut scene's and some sounds may be choppy but the actual bit that matters, i.e. the game and gameplay will be perfect.

Thanks for all the help.

-Enjoy :)

You can store them on a dvd & play from it in your pc with the Disk Server software.

Most people use Phoenix as it can do alot of things.

Thats good to know also.

What I really need is some idea where I can get PSO from ?

Tried the pre-owned section in my local shops.
Tried bst etc.

Is it 100% the only way I can do it. PSO 1+2 from year 2002?

So if I buy the above PSO I am good to go..?

As long as I get a BBA.

Which is a lot easier.

Thanks for the help guys.

@Old Engineer:- You don't use msn do ya? Shame, cos my emails always seem to get delayed. So I will keep checkin back every 30 mins or so to see if you can confirm 100% if those dates are same ;)

I have also saw one on an ebay shop. I mailed the seller and he said:-

"It has 2000, 2002 and also 2003 down at the bottom."

Any good? If so it will save me £20 lol
